At just 104 pounds and sporting a baby face, 15-year-old Michael Peck struggles to fit in at American High. Bullied by classmates and belittled by teachers, he navigates a tough social landscape. To make matters worse, his home life offers little solace, as his well-meaning parents treat family interactions like business meetings, even insisting he sign contracts for his extracurriculars. As Michael grapples with the challenges of adolescence, he seeks to find his place and assert his identity in a world that seems determined to keep him down.
