Bellisha, a 27-year-old curly-haired Jewish man, grapples with adulthood while still residing with his mother, Giselle, in a struggling neighborhood. As the last kosher grocery store prepares to shut down, it signals the end of Jewish presence in their area. Despite the surrounding tensions and Giselle's declining health, Bellisha remains surprisingly content, reluctant to leave the familiar comforts of home. His journey explores the complexities of identity, family ties, and the bittersweet nature of community as it faces inevitable change.
