Directed by David Blair, this gripping British drama draws loose inspiration from Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men." Set against the backdrop of Nottingham, the story focuses on the turbulent bond between the rough-around-the-edges Danny (Stephen Graham) and the gentle giant Joseph (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), who has the mental capacity of a child. Faced with mounting debts to a local crime lord, Danny resorts to exploiting Joseph, coercing him into a dangerous world of underground cage fights to reclaim his financial stability. The film explores themes of loyalty, manipulation, and the harsh realities of survival.
