Set against the backdrop of the 1970s punk rock scene, Stranded delves into the impact of four musicians from Brisbane who helped shape one of music's most revolutionary movements. Through candid interviews with the band members, including Ed Kuepper and Chris Bailey, alongside insights from icons like Sir Bob Geldof and Jello Biafra, the documentary explores how the repressive regime of Joh Bjelke-Petersen fueled the punk rock uprising in Australia. Ultimately, it highlights The Saints' emergence as a cornerstone of the genre, influencing countless artists in the years that followed.
