Junk Food weaves together four interconnected narratives. The opening and closing segments follow the daily rituals of a blind elderly Japanese woman as she rises, shops for bread and milk, and offers prayers at her family altar. However, the heart of the film lies in the second segment, where the real story unfolds, delving into the complexities of life, connection, and the significance of seemingly mundane moments. As these tales intertwine, they reveal the profound impact of routine on both individual lives and shared experiences.
