Richard, a middle-aged husband living in the suburbs, unexpectedly informs his wife, Maria, of his desire to end their marriage. As he begins a relationship with a younger woman, Maria spends an evening out with friends and encounters a younger man herself. Both Richard and Maria, along with those in their lives, grapple with an elusive quest to reclaim what they once had—love, thrill, and enthusiasm. This poignant American indie film delves into the complexities of aging and the feelings of disconnection that accompany it.
