In "Swordfish," rogue operative Gabriel Shear is on a mission to seize $9 billion hidden within a covert Drug Enforcement Administration account. His goal is to use the funds to combat terrorism, but he lacks the technical prowess for the necessary hack. He recruits Stanley Jobson, a down-and-out encryption whiz with the skill to breach any system. Together, they navigate a high-stakes world of espionage and cybercrime, where the lines between good and evil blur as they attempt to pull off the ultimate digital heist.
