The Stevens family believes they've secured a luxurious getaway to a remote island, only to face chaos when their home is wrecked and their food vanishes. As tensions rise, the family's discord unfolds in front of friends and a national TV audience. Unbeknownst to them, the so-called exotic island is merely a stone's throw from Sacramento. The ensuing drama tests their bonds, blending family antics with unexpected revelations, all while their televised misfortunes spiral out of control.
