John Good, a screenwriter, reimagines Shakespeare's Othello as a rock & roll tale set within a secluded commune. Here, the wandering evangelist Othello falls for the enchanting Desdemona, igniting jealousy in Iago, the manipulative leader who harbors secret feelings for her. As Iago's devious machinations intensify, Othello becomes ensnared in a web of deceit, driving the narrative toward a tragic climax. Featuring an engaging soundtrack with songs like "Othello," "Working on a Building," and "Put Out the Light," this adaptation blends classic themes with vibrant musical energy.
