Chilean-French visionary Alejandro Jodorowsky set out in 1974 to adapt Frank Herbert's seminal novel Dune into a groundbreaking film. Over two years and with a hefty budget, his ambitious endeavor ultimately crumbled. However, the eclectic team of artists he assembled continued to collaborate, influencing the landscape of modern science fiction cinema. Their innovative ideas and creativity, forged in the fires of this unrealized project, left an indelible mark on the genre, showcasing the resilience and spirit of artistic ambition despite the film's failure.
