In a sunlit, tranquil swamp, Uncertain reflects on a mysterious town that's often ignored, where the lake—its primary source of income—is endangered by an invasive plant species. True to its name, the Texas town's origins are disputed; some believe it was named due to a surveyor's mix-up while mapping, while others think it was the steamboat captains who deemed docking there a perplexing challenge. This murky history sets the stage for the restless and hopeful residents who call this place home.
