The Devil, Probably

Charles navigates a world of politics, religion, and psychoanalysis, ultimately dismissing each as he grapples with a pervasive sense of disillusionment. His growing horror at the moral and physical decay surrounding him leads to a harrowing conclusion: he sees suicide as his sole escape from the societal despair he cannot bear. As he spirals deeper into his existential crisis, the film explores his internal struggles against a backdrop of a crumbling world, making a poignant statement about the human condition and the search for meaning in a chaotic reality.
