Set against the backdrop of World War II, a group of spirited young anti-fascists finds themselves imprisoned on a remote island. There, they channel their ideals into the creation of the influential Ventotene Manifesto, a document that would later inspire future movements. As they navigate the challenges of their confinement, their camaraderie strengthens, and their resolve to fight against tyranny deepens. The film beautifully captures their struggle for freedom and the power of collective action in the face of oppression.
