Bill Nighy and Miranda Richardson deliver powerful performances in a tale woven with themes of loss and fame during the tumultuous period of New Labour's rise and Princess Diana's passing. Nighy portrays a seasoned PR expert forced to confront his priorities when his daughter considers cutting ties, potentially as a reaction to his repeated betrayals. Meanwhile, Richardson embodies a grieving mother who attempts to cope with her young son’s death through unorthodox means. As their lives intertwine, both characters navigate the complexities of love, regret, and the search for redemption amidst personal turmoil.
