A police officer's mysterious disappearance during a 2005 forest hike ignited urban legends surrounding a portal to another realm. By 2016, these tales inspired the internet sensation novel "Missing," now transformed into a chilling supernatural thriller under the direction of debut filmmaker Ronnie Chau. Gillian Chung, a former pop idol, plays a social worker who enlists a mountain guide to help find her father. As she navigates the treacherous terrain, she encounters the fabled gateway from the legends, leading her to question whether her father truly awaits her on the other side.
