Twenty men volunteer for a psychological experiment, taking on the roles of guards and prisoners in a simulated prison environment. As the days pass, the power dynamics between the participants shift dramatically, leading to disturbing behavior and escalating tensions. What begins as a controlled study quickly descends into chaos, exposing the darker aspects of human nature. The boundaries of morality blur as the guards become increasingly authoritarian, while the prisoners struggle to maintain their dignity. The experiment challenges the limits of psychological endurance and the consequences of unchecked power.
