Candyman: The David Klein Story

Candyman: The David Klein Story explores the extraordinary journey of David Klein, an unconventional candy creator from Los Angeles, who invented the beloved Jelly Belly® jellybeans. These vibrant treats transformed the candy landscape and even garnered approval from Ronald Reagan. However, Klein’s quirky approach and unorthodox business style led him to part ways with Jelly Belly just before its meteoric rise to success. Through his story, the film questions whether there’s a place for unique visionaries in today’s corporate environment, showcasing how Klein may have sacrificed commercial gain but preserved his integrity.
