Harry Young arrives in the gritty Limehouse district of London, having moved from Chinatown in New York. He quickly seizes control of the illicit import trade, ruthlessly eliminating his competition while managing a dimly lit nightclub. However, his world is turned upside down when he becomes infatuated with a struggling white pickpocket, challenging his pride in his Chinese roots. This unexpected romance ignites jealousy in the nightclub’s temperamental leading performer, setting the stage for tension and conflict in the shadowy underbelly of the city.
