A seasoned B-29 propeller plane grapples with obsolescence in a post-war world, feeling overshadowed when his wife welcomes a new jet into their family. Determined to prove himself, he enters an around-the-world race, only to find unexpected support from Junior. As the plot unfolds, issues arise within their aeronautical family, particularly as Junior's fascination with speed pushes him to adopt a jet engine. This charming short mirrors the narrative of One Cab’s Family (1952) but shifts the focus to the trials faced by a family of planes navigating their evolving roles.
