There Is a Me

When Amy was just six, she was ripped away from everything she knew and dropped into a system defined by chaos, cruelty, and neglect. Her youth played out through foster homes, sexual abuse, and addiction, leaving her scarred and furious well before she became an adult. At seventeen, her world shattered once more when her mother was killed. For three years she faced violence, countless arrests, and crushing loneliness. Then, in her bleakest hour, on the same streets that had almost claimed her, Amy found God.
