The Chips Are Down

"Les jeux sont faits" weaves a captivating tale of love and sacrifice, inspired by the work of existentialist thinker Jean-Paul Sartre. Following the simultaneous deaths of a wealthy heiress and a dedicated resistance fighter, the two find themselves in the afterlife. Here, they are granted a tantalizing opportunity: to return to the living world if they can demonstrate the authenticity of their love. Failure to do so will result in eternal wandering as spirits. Their journey challenges the essence of love and destiny in a world that blurs the lines between life and death.
