Twelve Days, much like her first film Twelve Nights, unfolds across twelve moments in a stormy marriage, tracing its arc from joyful beginnings to painful ruin. On the first day, Jeannie and Simon appear to share an ideal union, yet the eleven scenes that follow expose the many clashes—both trivial and profound—that gradually erode their connection. While love might lay a marriage's foundation, Twelve Days reveals how swiftly reality can tear it apart.
