Joel Gilbert embarks on a thought-provoking journey across America, seeking the truth behind Dorothy's yellow brick road. His exploration leads him from Detroit's decay to Chicago's troubled neighborhoods and Denver's immigration challenges. As he engages with Progressives, Gilbert unveils their vision of a perfect society, tackling themes like amnesty, race relations, and the influence of Islam in America. With humor and sharp insight, There's No Place Like Utopia questions whether a true paradise can exist or if the real key to happiness lies in traditional values of faith, family, and hard work, reminiscent of Kansas.
