Wild Butterfly

Wild Butterfly is a gripping true crime documentary that delves into the heartbreaking tale of 24-year-old Claire Murray, whose urgent quest for a life-saving liver transplant turned into a sensational media saga. Portrayed unfairly as a selfish addict who wasted her first transplant, the film uncovers the real events surrounding Claire's untimely death in 2010, revealing new criminal evidence. It exposes a web of Catholic institutional cover-ups, medical malpractice, and missing police documentation, while also examining the role of mainstream and social media in her story. This poignant narrative highlights not only Claire's tragedy but also the broader issues of social injustice and prejudice that could impact any family or daughter.
