A tender, bittersweet dive into the rebellious Vietnamese new wave movement, this film blends nostalgia with raw introspection. The director turns the lens inward, tracing her own and her community’s tangled history with the music that once defined them. As old tapes resurface and buried memories stir, the past—long ignored—demands a reckoning. What emerges is both a love letter to a defiant subculture and a quiet, searching confession about identity, regret, and the stories we choose to finally face.
