Kurdwin Ayub explores the deep bond between herself and her father during a poignant journey together. Their time is split between family visits and real estate excursions, as her father seeks the perfect apartment. His mission reflects a desire to secure a space where he can reconnect with the stateless land he affectionately refers to as his “homeland” as he approaches retirement. Through heartfelt moments and candid observations, the film beautifully weaves together personal history and the quest for belonging.
