Three undocumented teens—a Dominican girl, an African boy, and a Peruvian girl—face the challenges of impending high school graduation in the Bronx while striving to secure their legal status in the U.S. With the guidance of a dedicated teacher and an attorney, they tackle adult-like dilemmas that threaten their futures. Despite the heavy burdens they carry, their desires remain simple and universal: to forge friendships, experience young love, and assert their independence against societal pressures. Their journey highlights resilience and the quest for belonging in a world that often marginalizes them.
