In "Fly Away Home," 13-year-old Amy faces tragedy when her mother dies, prompting her move to Canada to stay with her estranged father, an unconventional inventor. Struggling to adapt, her spirits lift upon finding a clutch of abandoned goose eggs after a local forest is destroyed. As the eggs hatch, she embraces her role as "Mama Goose." When winter approaches, Amy and her father embark on a mission to guide the young geese south, forging a deeper bond while facing the challenges of nature and their new life together.
