Tapped

Is clean drinking water a fundamental human right or merely a product for sale? Stephanie Soechtig's debut documentary, Tapped, boldly investigates the bottled water industry’s impact on society. Produced by the team behind Who Killed the Electric Car and I.O.U.S.A., it delves into the hidden, unregulated world of a market that seeks to commodify our most essential resource. The film traces the journey of bottled water, from plastic production to ocean pollution, highlighting the communities affected and revealing the tension between corporate interests and the public's right to access clean water.
