Psychiatrist Dr. Culver employs hypnotism as a therapeutic tool for his patients. When test pilot Carpenter seeks help for troubling blackouts that jeopardize his career, Culver's intentions take a dark turn. Instead of merely treating Carpenter, he manipulates the power of hypnosis with a sinister agenda, aiming to compel him to murder his wife. As the line between therapy and malevolence blurs, the psychological tension escalates, leading to unexpected consequences for both men involved.
