Ace Eli and Rodger of the Skies

Ace Eli Walford, a 1920s stunt pilot with a childlike spirit, travels across rural Kansas with his wise-beyond-his-years son, Rodger. Together, they embark on a journey to the elusive San Willow, a destination Eli views as mythical. Their adventures reveal the complexities of their relationship, as Eli struggles with romantic entanglements that leave him unfulfilled, while Rodger often finds himself rescuing his father from various predicaments. Amidst the thrill of barnstorming, Rodger grapples with grief for his late mother, adding depth to their escapades from nowhere to nowhere.
