I've Got to Sing a Torch Song

A lively blend of humor and music, "I've Got to Sing a Torch Song" showcases a series of blackout sketches interspersed with memorable tunes, featuring the titular song first introduced in "Gold Diggers of 1933." The film offers a playful satire of various Hollywood icons, including Tallulah Bankhead, Joan Blondell, and James Cagney, alongside cultural figures like Mussolini and George Bernard Shaw. The Boswell Sisters and Greta Garbo, who delivers a cheeky "Dat's all, folks!" moment, enhance the film's eclectic charm, making it a delightful snapshot of 1930s entertainment.
