Joy of Man's Desiring

Que ta joie demeure transcends conventional documentary by offering a nuanced exploration of the relationship between humans and their industrial environments. Rather than focusing solely on alienation or exploitation, the film artfully utilizes sound, imagery, and editing to transport viewers into the heart of workshops and factory floors. It highlights the unique ways workers navigate and adapt to these surreal settings, showcasing their resourcefulness and resilience as if their bond with machinery were an intrinsic part of human existence throughout history.
