During the Easter holiday in a quiet country town, lieutenants Françoise Ruiz and Clémentine Arpinon are stuck at the police station, handling routine calls. The slow pace only sharpens the friction between these two women, whose personalities clash at every turn. But when they're dispatched to break up a late-night disturbance, the unexpected chaos forces them to drop their guard and finally see each other in a new light.
