Sir Percy Blakeney, an English nobleman in the 18th century, expertly juggles his dual existence. While he presents himself as a frivolous aristocrat, he secretly champions the cause of the oppressed, working tirelessly alongside a clandestine group to rescue French nobles from the clutches of Robespierre's brutal Reign of Terror. His clever disguises and daring escapades reveal a man of remarkable courage and intellect, determined to thwart tyranny and protect those in peril, all while maintaining the façade of a wealthy dandy among his peers.
