Father-to-be Thomas (Malik Zidi) races to the hospital as his wife goes into labor, but in a tragic accident, he kills a young man. This moment haunts everyone involved, notably the victim's mother, Marie-France (Nathalie Baye), who is unable to heal from the devastating loss. Fast forward nine years, and Marie-France unknowingly becomes Thomas’s secretary, harboring a dark secret tied to their shared past. As her grief morphs into a fierce desire for vengeance, she begins to infiltrate Thomas’s life, leading to a gripping, suspenseful confrontation reminiscent of classic Hitchcock thrillers.
