Clifton Webb stars as a stern, traditional father in this 1959 comedic romp centered around an American family's vacation in South America. Under the direction of Henry Levin, the ensemble cast includes Jane Wyman, Jill St. John, Carol Lynley, and Paul Henreid, alongside Gary Crosby, Henny Backus, Wally Brown, Gardner McKay, and Jose Greco. As the family navigates cultural differences and humorous mishaps, the clash between the father's rigid values and the vibrant local atmosphere creates a delightful exploration of family dynamics and adventure.
