Sakura, a young troublemaker long ostracized for his half-white hair, enrolls at Furin High School determined to fight his way to the top. But the school is under the protection of Bofurin—the "Wind Breakers"—a chivalrous street gang that guards the local shopping district and earns the townsfolk's affection. For the first time, Sakura is truly accepted by others, and he begins battling not for himself alone, but for the people around him, gradually shedding his belief that needing anyone is a weakness. A condensed take on the manga's first four volumes, or the anime's first ten episodes.
