Move

Eleven moving days bring together eight friends in their twenties—Philipp, Wiebke, Jessica, Maria, Swantje, Michael, Thomas, and Dina—each navigating a landscape of loneliness and longing. They seek new cities, jobs, apartments, and connections, often finding themselves at communal moving events, shuffling boxes across Berlin and beyond. Through this journey, director Dietrich Brüggemann captures the ever-changing nature of their lives, where relationships and social circles are fluid. With a blend of humor and poignant observations, the film illustrates a generation for whom moving symbolizes a transient existence filled with both hope and uncertainty.
