Alkohol

Alcohol permeates our lives, yet its complex effects on the brain often go overlooked. Every year, three million lives are lost to its consumption, but society continues to overlook its dangers, rarely labeling it a drug despite its destructive qualities. The film explores our longstanding tolerance of alcohol’s risks and examines the powerful industry behind it, generating an astonishing 1.2 trillion euros annually. Through the lens of a self-proclaimed drinker, the narrative probes into the reasons we drink, the impact of alcohol on our bodies and minds, and the industry's influence on societal norms and politics.
