Eight Māori women directors collaborate to create a poignant anthology film centered on the tangi of a young boy tragically lost due to caregiver abuse. Each segment presents a unique perspective, weaving together a tapestry of grief, resilience, and cultural identity. Through their distinct storytelling styles, the directors explore themes of loss and community, shedding light on the impact of violence in their lives. The film serves as a powerful tribute to the boy's life and a call for awareness about the pressing issues facing their communities.
