At 59, Mike Flynt might seem past his prime for college football, yet he carries the burden of unresolved issues from his past. Nearly forty years after his life was forever altered, he comes back to his old school to confront the moment that shifted everything. Despite the bruises, skepticism, and challenges he faces, he is determined to play one final game—not for fame, but to honor the teammates he lost, mend the family he hurt, and chase the ending he still holds out hope for.
