Exploring the intersection of language, symbols, and religious imagery, Black Sun delves into how such elements can propel groups like the Nazis to power. It prompts critical reflection on the nature of legends—do they expand our understanding or confine it? The documentary interrogates the fine line between spiritual aspiration and fanaticism, questioning whether society has truly learned from the tumult of the 20th century or is doomed to repeat its mistakes. Set against Germany's historical backdrop from the late 19th century to the dawn of the 21st, it underscores the importance of recognizing archetypes and myths in shaping human experience.
