Nazli struggles with the shame of her humble upbringing, yearning to escape her devoted mother’s influence as she embarks on her college journey. Leaving behind their village, she seeks a fresh start, distancing herself from the life she once knew. However, as the years unfold, nostalgia and regret weigh heavily on her heart. Ultimately, she feels a magnetic pull to return to her roots and reconnect with the mother she once turned away from. The film beautifully intertwines themes of sacrifice and redemption, featuring Candan Ercetin's poignant rendition of "Annem - Mom," echoing the enduring bond between mother and daughter.
