Marisa, a newly retired physician, embarks on a journey to a Greek refugee camp, believing her skills are desperately needed. Upon arrival, she realizes she doesn't quite fit in with the other volunteers. Her perspective shifts dramatically after meeting young Ahmed, a child in need of care. As their bond deepens, Marisa confronts her motivations, grappling with the complexities of compassion and her desire for purpose. The experience challenges her beliefs, forcing her to redefine what it means to truly help those in need.
