At just twenty, Étienne finds himself deeply in love with Valérie. Shortly thereafter, they welcome their daughter, Rosa, into the world. However, Valérie unexpectedly walks out one day and disappears from their lives. Rather than dwell on the loss, Étienne focuses on creating a joyful life for himself and Rosa. Sixteen years later, as Rosa stands on the brink of adulthood, Étienne sees Valérie on a news segment, stirring up long-buried memories. This revelation thrusts both father and daughter into a tumultuous final family adventure.
