In "Barfly," struggling writer Henry and troubled beauty Wanda find solace in each other's presence rather than in traditional marriage. Their true commitment lies to their favorite bar stools, where they navigate the ups and downs of life amid a haze of alcohol. The film beautifully portrays their chaotic yet endearing journey, as the two misfits bond over their shared struggles and aspirations, all while embracing the allure of the nightlife around them.
