The 1972 Munich Olympics turned into a nightmare when Palestinian terrorists seized Israeli athletes as hostages, leading to a tragic loss of life. "One Day in September" delves into this harrowing event and the subsequent Israeli counter-operation, known as 'Wrath of God.' Through a mix of archival footage and insightful interviews, including one with surviving terrorist Jamal Al Gashey, the documentary reveals the failures of law enforcement, who, lacking an anti-terrorist unit and rejecting Israeli assistance, mishandled the crisis. The film paints a chilling picture of chaos and the ripple effects of terror.
