Local filmmaker Sudeshna Sen presents a heartfelt coming-of-age tale centered on a 12-year-old South Asian-American girl. Grappling with the recent loss of her grandfather, she becomes convinced that he might be returning as the holy reincarnation of Siddhartha. As she navigates her grief and cultural identity, her journey unfolds with a blend of hope, spirituality, and self-discovery, capturing the complexities of familial bonds and the search for meaning in life's transitions. This poignant narrative beautifully explores the intersection of tradition and modernity through a young girl's eyes.
