Unknown: Cave of Bones

A groundbreaking expedition takes place in South Africa’s Cradle of Mankind, where paleoanthropologist Lee Berger uncovers the world’s oldest graveyard, intriguingly belonging to a non-human species. As Berger and his team delve into the remains of this ancient, small-brained, ape-like creature, they seek evidence of complex burial practices. If successful, their findings could revolutionize our understanding of hominid evolution and the roots of belief systems, reshaping the narrative of humanity’s past.
